International Day of Happiness at babyballet

Who knew there was an entire day dedicated to being happy but there is, and it just so happens to fall every year on March 20th! We love any reason to be happy so International Day of Happiness at babyballet is happier than usual – and that is saying something!

At babyballet, we take happiness as a given. After all, how can we not be happy with all the amazing dancing we have going on. Our incredibly dedicated and wonderful teachers find happiness every day as they watch all our little babyballet stars progress and grow. In fact, at babyballet HQ and beyond, happiness could quite well be our middle name.

And here is a list of just some of our top babyballet reasons to be cheerful every day – not just on International Day of Happiness. One, two, three!

Your babyballet® teacher!

First up in our top ten list has to be our babyballet teachers. We all have fond memories of certain teachers and everyone has their absolute favourite – that special person who just shines with happiness. This is just what we look for when we choose our babyballet® teachers. Every single one is shining with enthusiasm and has a love for dance. Happiness really is what each and every babyballet teacher brings to their classes.

Our musical instruments!

At babyballet, we do more than teach dance. We teach creativity and an all-round love for movement and music. After all, without music what would we dance to? Best of all is making our own babyballet music. Which is why we encourage all our little ones to get involved with music and rhythm in every class. Whether it’s shaking a tambourine or banging a drum, learning to clap along or stamping our feet. Music is inside all of us and here at babyballet we know that music makes us all very happy indeed. 

Good toes are happy toes!

Good toes and naughty toes. Now where have we heard that phrase before?! At babyballet, we make learning to dance FUN with a capital F which is why we teach little ones the basics of ballet and dance in a musical and storytelling environment. Twinkle and Teddy, the babyballet bears are never happier than when they get to watch themselves in this, one of our many video clips (see below) showing how much our babyballet stars enjoy their classes and get to stretch their feet in a classic ballet warm up for little feet. Spending quality time with grown ups!

One of the aspects of babyballet that we know makes our grown ups happy, is getting to spend time with their little ones. Taking your child to a babyballet class gives you a unique parental experience that allows you the gift of special time with your little star. And wait till you talk to our babyballet teachers. They just LOVE teaching young children how to dance and move to music.

Dancing with wands and flags!

At babyballet we like to make our classes as fun and interactive as possible, in some of the exercises our babyballet stars pretend to be fairies, elves, soldiers and so much more, whilst dancing with flags and wands. Remember to wave your flag in class this week as we celebrate International Day of Happiness at babyballet!

Twinkle and Teddy the babyballet® bears!

How could anyone not be happy with these two around? Twinkle and Teddy, the babyballet bears, are endlessly popular and loved by all our little ones. With songs and actions inspired by these lovable characters, Twinkle and Teddy are not only our mascots but hold a special place in the hearts of all our babyballet family. They love to celebrate International Day of Happiness at babyballet with their friends.
