WA Stage School babyballet® dance classes allow toddlers and young children from 2 to 4 years old to enjoy the physical and social benefits of ballet, song and dance in a safe, caring, positive and informal environment. Our babyballet preschool dance programme offers three stages of ballet classes. Taught by thousands of dance teachers across the world, the babyballet syllabus has been carefully developed by dance professionals to introduce your child to the magic of dance, whilst creating precious moments between you and your little star. At WA Stage School we strive to create a fun, friendly and inclusive experience for everyone – no matter what your child’s age or ability. Not to mention, our classes are a great way for parents, carers and guardians to meet up and make new friends too!

Meet the Principal

Renae O’Neill

Renae ONeill O'Neill Star WASS WA Stage School

Renae O’Neill has been the Principal of WA Stage School for 25 years, after taking over direction of the school in 1996. In this time, she has grown the school to over 300 students and has made it one of the most popular dance schools in Perth. Renae manages 4 admin staff and 20 teachers to help her run her business like a well-oiled machine. You will also see her name behind the choreography and direction of many high school productions and cabaret floor shows performed in the corporate scene of Perth. She has expanded the once jazz-only dance school to include cheerdance, acro, ballet, contemporary. musical theatre and babyballet® classes, suitable for ages 2 years to 50+. The school has two branches in the metro area Booragoon and Malaga.

At babyballet, we provide ballet classes for kids, from 6 months to 6 years. Creating a fun and supportive environment, your little one will follow a five-stage syllabus built on song, dance and music. Our babyballet Malaga and Booragoon dance classes for kids are both magical and educational, encouraging every child to enjoy the experience and get a chance to shine. From Tots and Tinies, to Tappers, Movers and Groovers, babyballet dance classes are led by a fully trained and experienced dance teacher. We also provide an opportunity for you to take over your own babyballet license so that you can run ballet lessons in your own area – exclusively!
