Kylie Saunders is the Principal of KRS Dance and babyballet Kirrawee and Gymea and although she loves this role and the Studio her first love will always be teaching. Kylie still enjoys teaching all students from babyballet, recreational classes and adores teaching her performance and extension students and guiding our senior students into Pre-professional classes. Kylie believes that dance is for everybody and continues to provides extension and support for passionate dancers.

For 14 years, Kylie taught Dance and Drama at Kirrawee High School where she was the dance coordinator. During that time, she established HSC Dance Elective classes and helped to create a large and successful dance faculty. HSC results in dance and Drama were consistently above the state average, with most students receiving a band 5 or 6 in these subjects.

As a younger dancer, Kylie was taught by Susan and Peter Farrell and at the age of eighteen she joined the teaching faculty, where she taught for 14 years. During this time her choreography and students won numerous prizes in Eisteddfods, in group, solo and duo competitions in Eisteddfods State wide. They have won scholarships and championships and have been much respected in the dance community.

Many of Kylie’s students have successfully auditioned for secondary and tertiary dance courses such as the University of New South Wales Dance Education Degree, The Victorian College of the Arts, Queensland school of Dance Excellence, The NSW Public Schools State Dance Ensembles, The Wesley Institute, Ev and Bow full time training centre, WAPA, The McDonald College and “So You Think You Can Dance”.

At babyballet, we provide ballet classes for kids, from 6 months to 6 years. Creating a fun and supportive environment, your little one will follow a five-stage syllabus built on song, dance and music. Our babyballet dance classes for kids are both magical and educational, encouraging every child to enjoy the experience and get a chance to shine. From Tots and Tinies, to Tappers, Movers and Groovers, babyballet dance classes are led by a fully trained and experienced dance teacher. We also provide an opportunity for you to take over your own babyballet license so that you can run ballet lessons in your own area – exclusively!
